Session Cap: 25 people This session is designed for teachers across all content areas and grade levels who are looking for practical, easy-to-implement strategies to help students develop both academic language and content knowledge. The focus will be on creating an inclusive classroom where ALL students—especially Emergent Bilingual learners (EBs)—can access rigorous content while strengthening their language skills. The session will center on QSSSA (Question, Signal, Stem, Show, Assess) and the use of sentence stems and academic language-building techniques to foster deeper student engagement and proficiency in academic discourse.
