This session is geared towards Elementary Librarians, but all elementary staff is welcome.
Ready to effectively integrate robotics into the curriculum? Educators will learn some fundamentals of robotics, while exploring hands-on activities, using popular educational robotics kits such as Dash, Cubelets, Ozobots, and Botley. Teachers will have dedicated time to play, explore, and experiment with the robots! The course will also cover time for lesson planning and ways to engage students in STEM learning. By the end of the class, teachers will be prepared to lead robotics-based projects, fostering creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking in students.
Join us for a collaborative professional learning session focused on developing a comprehensive Elementary Library Scope and Sequence for Kindergarten through 5th Grade. During this engaging workshop, participants will align library curriculum with the Technology Applications TEKS and explore how to integrate meaningful STEM activities that enhance digital literacy, critical thinking, and creativity across all grade levels.
