Participants will review current assessments, ensure content clarity and rigor, and make adjustments to better support student learning and instructional planning.
In this collaborative session, 5th and 6th grade math teachers will come together to discuss key transition points between elementary and middle school math. Topics will include priority standards, skill gaps, pacing alignment, and instructional strategies to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all students moving into 6th grade.
In this hands-on session, teachers will take time to closely examine their instructional materials—identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities for alignment with standards and student needs. Participants will collaborate to evaluate how resources support instructional goals and discuss strategies for intentional planning and adaptation.
