Participants will hear from high school AP Language and Literature teachers about practices used in class to generate higher level thinking, as well as strategies to write with depth and complexity. We will share a variety of tools to encourage gifted students to break down and take ownership of the writing process.
Elementary: How can we engage ALL students with purposeful classroom discussion? It is important for students to learn how to share their ideas with their peers and be active participants in their own learning. Join us as we experience and explore these instructional strategies that support purposeful classroom discussion.
