This Curriculum Think Tank will provide an opportunity to review and refine key components of the Reading Language Arts (RLA) curriculum in preparation for the 2025–2026 school year.
During this session, participants will:

Review the 2025–2026 Year-at-a-Glance to ensure alignment with standards, pacing, and instructional priorities
Examine the High-Frequency Word (HFW) and Heart Word Scope and Sequence, engaging in discussion and making informed adjustments, as needed
Collaboratively determine and incorporate a fluency measure into the report card rubric, promoting consistent assessment and reporting practices across grade levels.

This session will provide opportunities for educators to review, reflect, and provide final input on key components of the curriculum and assessments that support student success.
During this session, participants will:

Review and provide final feedback on the 2025–2026 Year-at-a-Glance, ensuring its alignment with the 2nd grade report card and that it meets both instructional and assessment goals
Examine the updated QPA Assessment, with a particular focus on incorporating multisyllabic words
